We have combined US-FireFighters.com with National-FireFighter.com. This site is for any and all Fire Fighters in the United State or it's Territories and those affiliated with them including their friends and family..

The purpose of this site is to provide Fire Fighters a Community. Fire Fighting is a brotherhood which includes men, women and their families. Our goal is to provide as many services to YOU the Fire Fighter. From Discussion and Information to E-Mail, Blogs and Hosting.

Most of all, we want you to use and enjoy our site. Sure we may charge for certain items or features and ask for your donations. After all these things don't come cheap. But a lot of our site will remain free. We will also try to keep advertising to a minimum.

Lastly we keep your personal information private. Being an ex-Fire Fighter and ex-Police Officer I understand the need privacy.

   

State Pages

We now have a Wiki page started for each state and now need someone from each state to take on that Wiki page. As with any Wiki these pages can be updated by any registered user. The person takes on the state page and any sub-pages will need to start inputting some information about Fire Fighting in that state. It is recommended to create sub-pages for each county and eventually sub-sub-pages for entities in that county.

If all you contribute information about your department please follow the instructions at the top of the main state page. Basically if your department is in a city you will want to go to the State Page create a namespace (not a page) for the county and a namespace for the city then your department page. like the example below.

[[state:county:city:department]]

Even though the county page and city page don't exist it puts the department page in the proper location.

Chimney Fires

Chimney Fires are a big problem this time of the year. Everyone department has their own way of fighter these nasty fires.  What's the best way to fight these fires that does the least amount of damage to the chimney and structure.

New and Improved

Welcome to the NEW and IMPROVED US-FireFighters combined with National-FireFighter. If you have been here before you are seeing some obvious changes. But there are a lot of not so obvious changes as well. First an foremost is better security. We are now stopping registration bots by using captcha. For those of you who were registered on US-FireFighters.com, you will have to re-register.

Aside from that we have a new feature called a Wiki and will be bringing on other features as well.

I am in the process of transferring pages from US-FireFighters.com over and that site as you know it will cease to exist however combined here.

Sub-domains have been discontinued in favor of our Wiki.

Also registered users will see things a little differently

One thing that will make this site good is you're participation so feel free to submit an article, ask a question or create a Wiki page. More than anything, use and enjoy the site.
